Halloween Costumes

Yes I know Halloween was awhile ago but I like to be different & my stuff is still available to be bought & goes with more then JUST Halloween.

All these costumes are from a store called Multiple Personality Designs. They have great outfits for 0L-3L. For Halloween they released some great costume like outfits some even including accessories & shoes.
Recently they moved their mainstore location & most of the items made before the move are fatpacked upstairs for 3L each. Some items upstairs are still 0-1L. New items are on the main floor a long with midnight mania boards & lucky chair.

Most of the Halloween Costumes can now be found @ their satelite location on the Harlow sim. The only 2 not there are the witch costumes. They are all 1L each. Other special edition color regular outfits are there too!

How To Clean Your Inventory Without Being Bored

I recently thought of an easy non bored way to clean/sort your Inventory while doing my own. First off you unbox everything wherever you have perms to do so. Once you have done that, Go to a place you like that has a lucky chair or board etc & go through the inventory while waiting to get some cute stuff.

I know it defeats the purpose of minimizing but the crap you delete will be a ton, therefore leaving room for your new pretties!

Breast Cancer Awareness Items

The Month of October brings us the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness. Its always been something important to me as I know people who went through it as well as Cancer in general. I do fundraising in RL for many causes & hope to bring the joy it gives me & do some fundraising in SL.

To start, my good friend Katey Coppola owner of Glitterati Poses, brought to our attention that she was raising funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. She has a 10 Pose Set for free in store plus a donation sign etc. Right away I decided to join her in this by selling some pink items in my store as well I sent a current freebie to my Subscribe O Matic Group. She also allowed me & friends to add the poses to our shops as well as blog them.

Hi Lovelies :)

Ok so upon reading a plurk from a friend about bloggers (particularly in regards to those who do reviews) not being rockstars causing an overall snobby stuck up "I'm too good for you" type of attitude which is unneeded.
Bloggers:
1. We are bloggers by choice
2. Designers that give review copies do so with kindness and generosity
3. Nobody owes us anything so quit the attitude
4. Have some respect and appreciation
Designers:
1. We are thankful & sorry if we didnt blog faster, or personally thank you
2. You give these review copies but whats done afterwards may not always be what you wanted
3. If you're worried about things not have gone through, send the blogger a NC to make sure without being all stalker/annoying

Within the same post came the topic of how review bloggers/fashion bloggers who get review copies, don't say thank you. I totally understand being busy with RL, SL, and even the fact that some bloggers get an overwhelming amount of review copies and cant do everything in one day. I know you do appreciate the kind gesture of the designers, but maybe sometimes we can show it even by just mentioning a thanks in the blog, writing an entry dedicated to thanking designers. Or write a notecard and send it to any designer who you blogged within the day etc. This way everyone wins and appreciation is shown for both parties.

Anyways that was just my personal opinions and advice on the topics. I myself am not a blogger who gets reviews, I've gotten a few from friends. But regardless the stuff I buy, win, etc comes from hard working designers, so for that I Thank You All for your hard work and commitment to making SL pretty :)

Hi Hi

Ok so I totally fail at blogging and if I hadn't been so busy with both lives I would totally have updated this. However things have been so hectic I don't even have time to myself some days. I just wanted to at least update you though to make sure you don't think I abandoned you lol and to say once my inventory gets cleaned and organized I will get back to review blogging. I will also get back to exploring and pictures etc

Hope all is well. Also I now have a personal blog, its called Through This Girl's Eyes. It has been updated and the blog lists are up. That's my next task for this one, is to put up the blog lists etc. But thats for another day! Till next time, be good and have fun!

The BBBC - Day 4 Its Party Time

Hello My Darling Readers :)
Missed me ? Aw I missed you too! Today is the middle of the week & we have a party today for the Big Bad Bloggers Challenge. It's going to be a Rave style party, info on Alicia's Blog. I might go & stop in for a bit but it depends on my busy schedule.
I wish I weren't in pain ugh & the weather here today sucks, it's raining! Oh wells what can ya do! I'll blog lol that's what.

I think I pretty much have the list set for who I'm going to ask to join in on the fundraiser. So today I shall send out that notecard. I'm probably going to use my alt as the account the L's will go to so that the donation money isn't confused with my monies. Besides shes broke so no confusion in that account. Also need a name for my fundraiser so I can start the blog for it.
Today I think I'll do some hunting & tons of picture taking if I have time. I like to explore. It will be fun!

Today's Topic:
If there was someone you could trade places with for one day in Second Life, who would it be and why? Bonus points if you find this person and snap a picture with them!

My answer is very simple, someone who has a job that's flexible or has a successful store that makes a decent income lol Or a Linden & I'd make SL better & change things too to make players happy!

Hello everyone
Hope you're having a great day! My day is going alright so far, just my usual routine in RL. Today is the third day in the BBBC and tons of people are joining & writing, it's tons of fun! For more info visit Alicia Chenaux's Blog Entry about it, or view my recent posts before this one.

Today I finally wrote the info notecard for the fundraiser I am planning in world. I am very excited about it & think it will be tons of fun. Tomorrow I will send it out to the people who I hope will help me with it and then wait to hear more. Otherwise I have been just thinking & trying to plan things, starting my new routine and doing something different in my SLife. One thing I need to do is inventory cleaning, I have tons of stuff to go through lol but it will get done eventually lol

Today's Topic Is:
You've been given a sim of your very own to use for free for one year. However, there are 3 rules. It cannot be residential, it cannot be commercial, and it has to be open to the public. What do you do with it?

I love this topic question because way before this I have been wanting to have land that supported what I call a fun land. So for the sim I would do the same, it would have fishing areas, picture taking areas, scenes/setups maybe from shows or movies for fun or picture taking, fortune teller, different rides, games etc...then another part would be a club that was just about fun & music & dancing no sexual stuff or stupidity you can find that already lol I would also have a lounge area that was like a cafe/lounge for those who wanna relax & chat. A drive in style movie area with parked cars. Some would be accomodating to sit in & some would have blanket's & poseballs on top of the car to sit & watch, and of course real tv with movies. Prim food too throughout the sim woot! Tons of things just for an overall great fun place to come to. You'd never be bored I assure you!

Hi Hi Everyone

So today is the second day of the BBBC and it seems tons of bloggers are signing up & totally enjoying it. I definitely am :) Each day for a week bloggers who sign up will write a blog entry each day and it can be about anything , it can be long or short etc doesn't matter. If you have nohing tp write about, each night Alicia gives a topic for the next day's entry.

My approch is going to be a paragraph about whatever I want & then the topic of the day & my answer.

I recently decided that I want to do something new in my SLife. I pretty much have a basic routine that I do everyday, and have decided I want a change. I started already by attempting to make my store better in world and released some new things the other day. I hope it works out, I also have some stuff from my affiliate program @ Sweeter Than Candy owned by Candace Morgwain. See the thing is that my RL does not allow me to work in SL as jobs have set schedules so I saved money from contests etc to make a small little store but it hasn't really been a huge hit yet. Other then that I am working on a fundraiser to raise money for a charity in RL that helps children & teens around the world. I am pretty excited & hope a lot of people join in helping me with a great cause. I think it will be fun too! So stay tuned for more on that!
Now onto today's BBBC given topic :)

Describe what your perfect Second Life day would be like.

I think the perfect SL day for me would be to log in, have no capped messages (even tho I rarely have that now) I would get a notecard offering me a job in SL that worked around my RL medical schedule which would be that I could go into work any time of the day that I logged in, or a job like blogging or sending out group notices when I was available to do so & of course a decent wage per day or week. Then at least I would have monies to spend shopping. My small store would do well & I'd then get several more locations. I'd have a cute house that had just enough for what I need. Kitchen, Living Room, 2 or 3 Bedrooms, front porch, back porch, Photo skybox, and lots of cute furniture! I'd have fun parties with friends, have fun with my baby girl (shes cute), and then relax or take pictures. Basically have the freedom to do what I wanted, & I don't need much I'm very easy to please.

The Big Bad Blogger Challenge - Day 1

So last year my friend Alicia also a well known blogger, started a challenge known as Big Bad Blogger Challenge aka BBBC. You have to sign up and basically post one entry on your blog (RL or SL) each day. It doesn't matter how long or short it is and doesn't have to be well thought out or fancy, just needs to be a blog post. For those who have trouble finding things to write about, Alicia is very kind and each night there is a topic given for the next day's post. So if you choose to, then you post an entry to do with the questions if not then be free and do whatever :)

The thing that made me want to join in was that it is very fun, keeps you writing which is very good to do, you get to learn about new places , new people, new things by reading the other challenger's websites & entries. It's overall a fun experience so it seems. This is my first year doing this and I think it's gonna rawk! I hope we do it yearly cuz its a good thing to keep the mind challenged and its fun to write, for me anyways. I think my blogger challenge approach will be a small paragraph about whats new and exciting etc then ill also do the topic and answer it of course. Okies now I will post the topic for today and answer it :)

How long have you been a blogger? How has it enriched your life?

Well I have been blogging for many years in RL both for personal and for work projects whether it be my job or charity work etc. As for blogging in SL I started that in , early February this year (2009). It has enriched my life in the sense that I enjoy people writing to me about how they love my blog or a particular post or when they say they look forward to reading new entries etc it totally makes my day.
I enjoy writing about many things and it gives you a chance to write and come up with fun things to say.

Anyways hope you are enjoying the BBBC I know I am :)

Goodies for You!

Hi Hi

So things have been crazy lately but I finally have some time to put together some blog entries full of fun and goodies for you all. Sound good ? Awesome that's what I like to hear lol

As you may or may not know there have been a tremendous amount of hunts to the point that it was ridiculous especially during easter. Also hunts are growing now all are way over 100-50o stores its insanity. So I don't usually blog those freebies cuz it takes forever to unbox and I'm usually pretty quick!

I did however go to a store I like, recently as the group updates mentioned some awesome sale. Prices are reduced by a lot! It's their moving sale, and also things will be retired unless they are brought back for discount room etc... Anyways the store is Tyranny! Its pretty funky but has some cute stuff, I personally love it. The prices are between 50L-200L for clothing. Individual skins are 200L...a row is 800L (like half a fat pack) ... then the full set fat pack is 1000L. I say its an awesome deal especially cuz they have some cool makeups.

While ther I went fishing. They have a hunt gift that is also now serving as a custom prize for fishing since the hunt is gone. The outfit is pretty cute and totally fishing themed. You do not need any bait to receive this, just the pole from the 7seas vendors. The fishing item is pretty quick to get. Here is the picture I took for you all.

Happy Birthday To Me

Hello Everyone

I know it has been over a month since the blog was updated but we have been extremely busy. So on that note i will be sure to post two blog posts tonight to make up for it. Then if I still can't sleep, then possibly a third lol brave I know :P

Recently it was my birthday April 24th. I was feeling kind of blah but I can always count on my friends to make me smile. They sent me all kinds of birthday wishes and I even got some cute presents in world. Woot! So here's a tip, when you feel down and blah on your RL birthday, go on SL and enjoy some fun with friends!

I also got to party the next day during an event I partly hosted, we brought an SL cake and all my SL friends, and guests at the event wished me happy birthday yay! On that note I'll leave you just a few pics... enough so you can see some cuteness :)

So I totally know I have been slacking lately but things have been extremely busy lately. I'm sure many of you understand :P

You ever notice how the weather likes to change suddenly ? Like in one day its sunny and you think spring is coming, and then it hits ya that night or the next day... RAIN! Well I noticed it, and the wind is ridiculous too. I catch myself saying shush to the wind lol

Late Night Stories

Hi Hi Everyone

So it's the last day of the weekend, and I am awake late as usual lol So I figured since I'm sooo behind on writing/updating this blog, that it was time for an entry. However don't be upset when I tell you that this entry doesn't include any particular fashion finds, advice, or explorations. It's mostly about a bunch of stuff going on right now lol

First off lets start with the weather (in some places of course), which sucks right now where I live. One day snow, next day rain, day after its both and the next day its a huge snow storm. Who requested this ? Not me!

Next is wow soo many hunts in world. Oh wait, I guess this does talk about fashion and finds lol Just not specifics and coordinates. You should read about them groups, fave stores participating or other blogs. Then again you can wait till me and kello aren't busy and we blog about the great finds of hunts!

Vintage Love

Hi Hi!

I am totally excited to be writing right now because I love writing and also because I take cute pictures. Most of all I like our readers to be entertained and pleased to see what we write and take pictures of :)

Today I take you back in to some vintage days with a slightly modern twist. Ivalde is a store in world that has retro & vintage clothing, the modern twist, is basically that they have some clothes that sort of resemble more modern mixed with the vintage/retro styles. Cute stuff, this I assure you!
In the upcoming image, is the Valentine's Day gift from the Vain kiss hunt. It's so cute I love it. The outfit's line is called Taylor but this particular dress is special and only available during the hunt, so get it while ya can. Pair it up with cool accessories, and awesome hairstyles, take tons of pictures or go on a date either way the dress is great.

So as you can see my partner Kello is way ahead of me with blogs lol She totally reminds me to do mine but I get busy, sidetracked and I'm too darn popular for my own good. Ok moving on to some fun blogging!

Being her friend I get to try on her new creations hehe and you have to wait till they are released :p

Hi Hi Everyone,

So I'm Renee, one of the cool writers of this blog yay! and today is my first post to all of you. So welcome and hope you enjoy reading our crazy silly but great stories.

One of my all time favorite stores in Second Life® is Cupcakes. They have some of the cutest stuff for such great prices, it's amazing. Anywhere from formal dresses, cocktail dresses, casual dresses, tops for different events, pants, swimwear, skins, the whole works. Another great part about them is how they give the nicest group gifts and pretty often too, best part is you get stuff way more expensive then the group fee. Its 250L to sign up however the prices of the gifts they give (most of the time great skins) exceed that price by a long shot. Don't they rock ?? I know! too cool!!

I decided I would show you all some of the many outfits I have from cupcakes. You will love them so much you will probably run to get them lol :)

First of we have 2 casual swimwear items. Both are 2 piece, bikini's. I love the fact that they fit perfectly and cover all parts that need covering including the unfortunate butt crack we all seem to have that never ends lol ... ok that was graphic lol moving on. 1st up we have Pink & Black Polka Dot bikini, my fave color is pink woot! In the 2nd picture we have the Camouflage bikini, its a mix of black purple and green. Totally hawt!!

I told ya they were great! Now if you think that's awesome, next I'm gonna show you these 2 outfits that rock. One is a pretty couture like dress, and the other is a casual outfit that comes in tons of colors and options.

The casual outfit is sold as separate pieces, and come in different colors, the skirt and leggings can be purchased separately, however the one shown is attached as one layer not multiple.
